Purpose of group |
| The purpose of EARNE is to enhance the effectiveness,
impact and sustainability of development in Egypt by
supporting quality evaluation, enhancing R&E capacities,
advancing generation and dissemination of knowledge,
and advocating for evidence based programmes and policies. |

Current strategy and emphasis |
| |

Dialogue stimulation amongst people
concerned with professionalization and utilization of
evaluation for development effectiveness. |

R&E Capacity Development with special
emphasis on mid-level professionals, governmental officials,
NGOs, media and younger researchers. |

Knowledge generation and dissemination
on issues related to monitoring, research and evaluation. |

Advocating for evidence based policy
making and bridging the gap between researchers and policy
makers. |
