3. Current membership – approximate size and origin – i.e. from govt., NGOs, academics, private sector, etc.
Approximately 30 members, mostly from NGO sector (70%), but also include individuals from government, academics, etc. Individual members shift from one sector to another.
 
4. Purpose of group
Promote the MandE culture, policy, standards, capacity building, etc. in the Kyrgyz Republic for the purpose of improving efficiency and effectiveness of public administration.
 
5. Current strategy and emphasis
  Strategy includes two key components: 1) the Network acting as a political partner of the government in order to promote the MandE agenda in the country, and 2) capacity building of network members, professionalizing, networking.

Recently completed an International MandE Week (Conference) in September 2010. The Network is currently in the process of processing Conference results and formulating a strategy of cooperation with the government, fundraising strategy and network development plan (advice and support is welcome).
