4. Purpose of group
a) To bring together professionals and practitioners working in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for collaborative processes on common issues.
b) To support the application of quality monitoring and evaluation processes.
c) To share information on M&E practices and products.
d) To share or develop and implement capacity building opportunities in the application of M&E.
e) To play a constructive and effective intermediation role between development project/ program sponsors, beneficiaries and other stakeholders wherever members serve as evaluators.
 
5. Current strategy and emphasis
  To be the performance communication platform that supporting all R&D efforts in the country and region. The focus for now is reaching out to all actors and enhancing relevant communication.
