Past
Events
Recent events that were announced here include the following:
The African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) is holding its 6th biennial International Conference in Accra, Ghana from Monday, January 9 to Friday, January 13, 2012 on the theme "Rights and Responsibility In Development Evaluation".
Twelve years ago AfrEA started life as an informal group with the support of UNICEF Regional Office for Eastern and Southern Africa. Today, five biennial conferences later, this informal network has become entrenched within the institutional landscape of development infrastructure on the continent, a veritable constituency of evaluators, commissioners and users of evaluation located within national governments, the not-for-profit sector, civil society and the private sector.
